A man breached his curfew after falling drunk in the street.
Dundee Sheriff Court heard that Eric Cox, 40, of Cyrenians, Brewery Lane, was yards from his home when he was found on September 5 at 7.20pm, and police and an ambulance were called.
Paramedics found Cox had injuries which had been inflicted during an assault on him three days earlier.
Police realised he was outwith his home after 7pm, in breach of his curfew, and arrested him.
Cox admitted breaching his curfew in Ash Street, by being outwith his home between 7pm and 7am.
Solicitor Mike Short said Cox had been in severe pain but was unwilling to take any drugs because he was on a drugs reduction programme, so had turned to alcohol instead.
Sentence was deferred until October 11.
