A Dundee care worker is to stand trial accused of stealing £1,600 from an elderly woman she was looking after.
Jennifer Smith is alleged to have swindled the money between March 30 and April 29 2016.
Prosecutors say that while acting in the course of her employment as a care assistant at an address in Dundee’s Bridgend Street she stole £1,600 from the woman.
Smith, 49, of Fintryside, denies a charge of theft on summary complaint.
Sheriff Robert Vaughan set a trial date in January and order Smith to appear at a pre-trial hearing in December.
