Michael Grogan, 42, of Deveron Crescent, had sentence deferred for reports. He appeared from custody and admitted driving with 143 mics of alcohol in 100ml of breath at Arklay Street and Clepington Road on September 2. Sheriff Colin Dunipace said due to the high reading and because Grogan has a previous drink-driving conviction, he would require reports. He disqualified him in the interim and deferred sentence until October 4, granting him bail. This article originally appeared on the Evening Telegraph website.
