Liam Tang, 23, of Berry Place, St Andrews, admitted driving with 39 mics of alcohol in 100ml of breath on Largo Road, St Andrews, on July 25. The court heard police on patrol saw Tang and thought he was driving at excessive speed and stopped him, and the offence then came to light. He was fined £600 and banned from driving for a year.
