Daniel Blair, 24, of Glenconnor Drive, admitted at Dundee Sheriff Court to breaching a curfew, theft, assault and vandalism charges.
Blair admitted that on July 3 at Tesco, Strathmartine Road, he stole a bottle of wine, that he assaulted Kevin Skinner by pushing past him and causing his clothing to tear, and that he breached his curfew by being outwith his home address between the hours of 7pm and 7am, all while on bail.
He further admitted, on the same date at Canning Place, wilfully or recklessly destroying a front door by causing a glass panel to break, while on bail.
Sheriff Jillian Martin-Brown deferred sentence on Blair until October 4 to allow for a report to be compiled from Tayside Council on Alcohol.
He was granted bail meantime.
