Breaches of bail, theft and drug possession admitted by Dundee man
ByAlan Wilson
Eric Cox, of Brewery Lane, Dundee, admitted breaches of bail, theft and possession of drugs when he appeared at the city’s sheriff court.
The 40-year-old had been granted bail in order for reports and a drug treatment and testing order assessment to be obtained.
Cox admitted that on April 6, at B&M in the Wellgate, he stole a remote control, while on bail, and had a set of cutters in circumstances where it could be reasonably inferred he intended to commit a crime.
He further admitted that on June 10, he breached his bail terms by being outwith his flat during the hours of 7pm-7am and resisted arrest.
He also admitted that, on July 12, he breached his curfew and at police HQ in Bell Street he possessed heroin.
Sentence was deferred until September 20.
