Man, 45, held knife to wife’s throat in Dundee home

A man who held a knife to his wife’s throat appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court.

Martin Johnston, 45, of Albert Street, had sentence deferred after admitting a charge of assault.

Johnston admitted assaulting his wife Alison by holding a knife to her throat at a property in Corso Street on June 10.

Sentence was deferred until July 31 for background reports and assessments.
