Martin Johnston, 45, of Lily Walker Centre, had sentence deferred at the city’s sheriff court after admitting assaulting his wife, Alison Johnston. Johnston admitted that on June 10, at an address in Corso Street, he assaulted Ms Johnston and held a knife to her throat. Sentence was deferred to July 3 for social work reports.
