A man pushed a 75-year-old woman in a Dundee city centre car park, causing her to fall, then drove a car carelessly.
Stephen Macfarlane, 38, of Dunnichen Avenue, Forfar, had sentence deferred to June 26 at the sheriff court.
Macfarlane was found guilty after trial of assaulting an elderly woman on Boxing Day last year in the Overgate Shopping Centre car park.
He committed the offence by pushing the woman, causing her to fall over.
He was also found guilty of driving a car without due care and attention by driving at excessive speed, failing to observe a one-way driving system and causing another road user to take evasive action to avoid a collision.
Sentence was deferred for reports.
