A learner driver who smashed into a bin after a high-speed police chase was disqualified from driving.
Graham Hogg, 28, had no licence or insurance when he was seen driving dangerously.
Hogg, of Drumlithie Place, failed to stop for police then crashed into a dog waste bin and fled the scene.
He was disqualified from holding a licence for 12 months at Dundee Sheriff Court and fined £800. Hogg admitted driving a car without insurance and without a full licence at Kingsway and Pitkerro Road on January 6.
He further admitted dangerous driving at excessive speed, failing to stop when requested to do so by a marked police car with activated blue lights, colliding with a bollard and bin, causing damage, and failing to leave his personal details.
