A man who punched another man in a Broughty Ferry pub was fined at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Inderjit Singh, 31, of Strathyre Place, was fined £350 after admitting assault.
He admitted assaulting Steven Robertson by punching him on the head to his injury at Fort Hotel, Fort Street, Broughty Ferry, on October 23.
The court heard Mr Robertson was about to leave the pub and as he crossed the dance floor Singh punched him.
Defence solicitor George Donnelly said there was an ongoing feud between the two and “catty remarks” had been made towards Singh regarding him and his family throughout the evening.
Mr Donnelly said that as a result of this, Singh lost his temper and punched him.
