A man has appeared in court accused of two charges of murder in Dundee.
Krzysztof Gadecki, 37, of Benvie Road, appeared in private on petition at Dundee Sheriff Court today, accused of murdering Ronald Kidd and Holly Alexander at a property in Rosefield Street.
The first charge against Gadecki is that between December 8 and December 11 at an address in Rosefield Street, he assaulted Ronald Kidd, formerly residing there and repeatedly struck him on the body with a knife or similar instrument and did murder him.
The second charge is that between December 8 and December 11, at an address in Rosefield Street, he assaulted Holly Alexander, formerly residing there and repeatedly struck her on the body with a knife or similar instrument and did murder her.
Gadecki, who was assisted by a court interpreter, made no plea or declaration during the hearing.
Sheriff Simon Collins continued the case for further examination and Gadecki was remanded in custody pending a further hearing next week.
