A Dundee man has been found guilty of being concerned in the supply of cocaine worth £85,000.
Dale Wales, 24, of Riddell Terrace, in the Linlathen area of the city, was convicted following a trial at the High Court in Aberdeen.
Wales was accused of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug two years ago at various addresses in Dundee.
Nathan Forbes, 24, of Balunie Crescent, was also accused of the same offence.
After the trial concluded, Wales was found guilty by a jury, while the case against Forbes was found not proven.
Wales will be sentenced at the High Court in Edinburgh on December 22.
The court heard that, between August and October in 2014, Wales supplied cocaine at addresses including Douglas Road, Ballindean Road, Claverhouse Road and Longtown Street.
Wales was arrested on October 16 2014 following an intelligence-led drugs operation by Police Scotland.
He appeared in private on petition following his arrest.
Officers had stopped Wales in a vehicle in Harestane Road, where £85,000-worth of drugs was recovered.
The six-day trial — which started on November 18 — was heard in front of Judge John Morris.
Forbes faced a further charge of driving a vehicle without a working rear light.
This charge against Forbes was also not proven.
At the time of the arrests, a Police Scotland spokeswoman thanked members of public for their assistance in the crackdown on drug offences in the local community.
The spokeswoman said: “Officers recovered cocaine after a vehicle was stopped in Harestane Road, Dundee.
“Officers in Tayside division are committed to taking illegal drugs out of communities and targeting those involved in their supply.
“Police Scotland would like to thank the public for their continual assistance in providing information.”
