A man trapped his former partner in their home then beat and injured her.
William Burns, 35, a prisoner at Perth, had sentence deferred at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Burns admitted assaulting Angela Fleming on April 3, at a property in Arthurstone Terrace.
He pushed her against a door, seized her by the hair, dragged her by the hair, prevented her from leaving the property and repeatedly punched her on the body, all to her injury.
Burns also admitted a second charge of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner, on the same date, at the same location.
He committed this offence by shouting, swearing, acting aggressively, uttering threats of violence towards three police officers, and kicking and headbutting a wall.
He further admitted a third charge of breaching bail conditions by approaching and contacting Ms Fleming and entering Arthurstone Terrace, on the same date.
Sentence was deferred until July 20 for the Crown to provide a narrative.
n Russell Whyte, 37, of Lawton Terrace, Dundee, had sentence deferred at the city’s sheriff court.
Whyte admitted assaulting David Robertson by seizing him by the body and repeatedly punching him on the head, at Spey Drive, on April 27.
Sentence was deferred until August 10 for reports.
