A MAN who attacked four of his friends after they shaved off one of his eyebrows at a party has been placed under supervision.
Colin McComiskie, 22, was given the one year community payback order at Dundee Sheriff Court after admitting four charges of assault.
The court heard McComiskie punched, slapped and pushed his friends when he awoke to find one of his eyebrows missing after having drunkenly fallen asleep.
The incident took place at McComiskie’s friend Craig Nicoll’s home at The Aspens. Friends Michael Ringsell, Kyle Patterson and Stacey Patterson were also there and the group drank alcohol together.
Fiscal depute Muhammad Sadiq told the court: “The accused had fallen asleep and when he woke up at 5am he noticed one of his eyebrows had been shaved.
“He became angry and aggressive towards all the witnesses in the room.”
McComiskie then repeatedly punched Mr Ringsell on the head and body and pushed him.
Mr Nicoll tried to stop him but McComiskie punched him on the head.
Mr Patterson also tried to intervene but McComiskie slapped him and punched him on the head, before pushing Ms Patterson to the floor.
McComiskie, of Tannadice Court, admitted four charges of assault, all of which took place on April 19 at a property on The Aspens.
Sheriff Tom Hughes said: “You’ll be subject to supervision for a period of one year.”
