Man threatened to throw woman out of Dundee hotel window

A 51-year-old man threatened to throw his partner out of a hotel window.
William Carmichael, of Blackwood Avenue, Linwood, Renfrewshire, admitted three charges against him at Dundee Sheriff Court.
He admitted assaulting his partner Valerie Lee at Holiday Inn Express on Dundee’s Dock Street by threatening to throw her out of a window there, seizing her by the hair and biting her on the lip, all to her injury, on August 30 last year.
He further admitted assaulting Scott Spink by attempting to butt him on the head on the same date and location.
And he admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing and threatening to kill three police officers, at Commercial Street, during a journey to police headquarters, and at the charge bar area of police headquarters on the same date.
Sentence was deferred until May 2.
