A shop worker has admitted taking £2,500 from the tills in the space of a month.
Aaran Hill, 30, of Craigmount Road, had sentence deferred until February 12 at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Hill admitted embezzling from Marks & Spencer, Murraygate, Dundee, while he was employed as a sales assistant there, between June 1 and July 7 last year.
The court heard he was observed on CCTV taking money from the tills in sums of around £100-150 at time. He was interview by police and failed to give a reason as to why he was taking the cash.
