A man hid cameras inside tubs of shower gel and a washbag to film women and children in a bathroom at a Dundee home, a court has heard.
Kevin Enticknap, 42, also downloaded indecent images and videos of children, and sexually assaulted a child.
Dundee Sheriff Court heard that he had taken videos of a number of women and children and stored them on his phone so that he could view them later.
Police recovered 249 indecent images and 75 indecent videos from a laptop and three mobile phones.
Enticknap previously admitted that earlier this year, at a property in Dundee, he took or permitted to be taken, or made, indecent images of children. He also admitted that, in a period between 2010 and 2013, at the same location, he sexually assaulted a child.
Enticknap, formerly of Dundee but now of Forres, Moray, further admitted that, between dates last year and this year, again at the same address, he recorded a child undertaking a private act with the intention of enabling himself or another to look at the image, by having installed a covert camera in the bathroom.
He admitted the same crime with a different child on a date in 2014.
He also admitted that, between late last year and early this year, he secretly filmed five other women during a private act in a bathroom.
The court heard that police officers investigated Enticknap in February after receiving intelligence that he had downloaded indecent images onto his computer.
When confronted by officers, Enticknap admitted having the images and later — when in custody — revealed he had been covertly filming people “for a wee while”.
The court heard that a hole had even been drilled in a wall to allow Enticknap to peer into a bathroom.
The women involved were “completely shocked, sick and totally violated” and were embarrassed at the “total invasion of privacy”, the court heard.
Sheriff George Way said today: “It will be difficult not to impose a lengthy custodial sentence on the basis of what the court has heard.
“This clearly required a considerable amount of thought and planning.
“The whole operation was carefully planned with every intention to invade the privacy of those people he filmed.”
Sentence was deferred until December 29. He was remanded in custody.
A man convicted of sexual offences at Dundee Sheriff Court on Friday was Kevin Enticknap, 42, and not David as reported in the print edition of the Evening Telegraph.
