A female nursing home resident carried out two assaults on staff members in Dundee, the sheriff court heard.
Joan Walker, of Ballumbie Grampian Nursing Home, faced two charges relating to incidents earlier this summer.
The 49-year-old admitted that, on June 3, at Ballumbie Care Home, Ballumbie Road, she assaulted Nikki Menzies by punching her on the head, to her injury.
She also admitted, on the same date, at the same location, slapping Claire Cooke on the head, to her injury.
Sentence was deferred until October 1.
A spokesman for the home said today: “The safety and wellbeing of our Residents and staff is our number one priority.
“The assault against two members of staff was unacceptable and we have worked closely with the authorities during their investigation into the defendant.”
