BySheanne Mulholland
Two women will stand trial at Dundee Sheriff Court accused of assaulting another woman in a city centre McDonald’s restaurant.
Gail Fraser, 29, of Dens Road, and May Nicoll, 68, of Hilltown Court, both deny two charges against them.
Fraser and Nicoll deny that, while acting together, they assaulted Catherine Williamson by seizing her by her clothing and repeatedly punching her on the head to her injury, at McDonald’s, Wellgate Shopping Centre, on May 19.
They further deny a second charge of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, acting aggressively and uttering threats of violence, on the same date and location, again whilst acting together.
Trial is set to take place on December 14 with an intermediate diet on November 18.
