Man appears in court over alleged attack at Dundee primary school

A 30-year-old man allegedly stamped on another man’s head while he was unconscious outside a Dundee primary school.
Mark Gorthy, of Anton Drive, appeared in private at Dundee Sheriff Court today.
He made no plea or declaration in relation to two charges on petition.
Gorthy is charged with behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by acting aggressively and putting his head against the head of Scott Wallace, and threatening Scott Wallace, at Camperdown Primary School, Buttars Street, yesterday.
He is further charged with assaulting Scott Wallace by punching him on the face, rendering him unconscious, and thereafter stamping on his head, to his severe injury, again at Camperdown Primary School yesterday.
The case was continued for further investigation and Gorthy was given bail.
