Dundee man sent sexual messages to child on Facebook

A 57-year-old man who made sexual comments to a child on Facebook was placed on the sex offenders register for two years.
Brian Nelson, of Harefield Road, admitted to Dundee Sheriff Court that between July 14 and August 31, both last year, at a location in Dundee and elsewhere, he sent written communication of a sexual nature to a child, made direct verbal communication of a sexual nature towards the same child, repeatedly sent the child sexual messages on Facebook and repeatedly made sexual comments towards the child.
He was also placed under two years supervision and ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work within a six month period.
