A man who stole a bank card from a nightclub then used it to buy hundreds of pounds worth of goods, had sentence deferred at Dundee Sheriff Court.
Mark Spiljard, 22, of Park Avenue, admitted that he stole the card on August 31 at Liquid Nightclub, in South Ward Road.
He further admitted that, on the same date, at Meadowside, Dundee, he used the stolen card to withdraw 200 cash from a bank machine.
He also admitted that he pretended to be the lawful holder of the debit card, which was in the name of Craig Jack, and induced Joseph Topping, an employee of CEX, Whitehall Street, to accept the use of the card in payment for goods to the value of 481, which were obtained by fraud on the same date.
Sentence was deferred until June 25.
