Brothers locked up for attacking man with brick in Dundee street

Two brothers who were involved in an attack on a man were both sentenced at Dundee Sheriff Court to periods behind bars.
Bradley Simpson, of Honeygreen Road, was sentenced to 12 months’ detention after admitting one charge of assault.
The 17-year-old admitted assaulting Peter Smith by striking him on the head with a brick, to his injury and permanent disfigurement, on May 4 last year in Findowrie Place.
His brother Barry Simpson, of Balunie Avenue, was jailed for six months after he admitted a separate charge.
The 26-year-old admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner by acting aggressively, threatening to damage property, brandishing a brick, and uttering threats of violence, on the same date and location.
