An airman asked under-age girls to strip online and watched them from his RAF bedroom in Leuchars.
Dundee Sheriff Court heard Chesney Wallbank, 23, asked the girls to strip via online chat sites, urging one to do homework naked.
Wallbank’s actions were discovered after his room was raided and his laptop seized by RAF officials.
They carried out the raid after Wallbank allegedly faked documents to allow him to work with cadets.
Fiscal depute Vicki Bell said: “His laptop was seized and examination revealed indecent images within. The images were found within a temporary storage area used by Windows Live Messenger.
“Chat logs were recovered and show the accused asking for ‘pics’ and for ‘pics of young girls 12 to 13.’
“He also asked an unknown person to do their homework naked whilst streaming through a webcam to him and during these chats there appeared to be a trading of images.”
The court heard ten indecent images were found, and various chat logs, including comments from girls saying, ‘I’m only 14’ and ‘I don’t want to do that’.”
The fiscal continued: “Wallbank had not been allowed to do the air cadets’ training due to concerns other than this.
“It allegedly transpired that he had falsified documents in order to facilitate involvement with the cadets and that is what ultimately led to the finding of these images.”
Wallbank could face dismissal from the RAF after he is sentenced.
Solicitor Ian Flynn, defending, said: “He is due to be transferred to RAF Coningsby later this year if he is still a serving member of the RAF. He had a previous incident where he received a financial penalty under the Armed Forces Act for wearing corporal’s stripes when he wasn’t a corporal.”
Wallbank, of RAF Leuchars, admitted that between April 21, 2011, and June 5, 2013, at his home address, he took or made indecent photographs or pseudo photographs of children. Sentence was deferred until June 11.
