A 29-year-old man who walked down a central Dundee street performing a sex act on himself has been ordered to carry out 160 hours of unpaid work.
Michael Bajek, of Harefield Road, previously admitted at Dundee Sheriff Court that he committed an offence of public indecency.
Bajek admitted exposing himself and performing a solo sex act in public at West Marketgait and Westport on March 14.
Fiscal depute Kirsten Thomson said: “Police control staff members were watching an area of West Marketgait on CCTV. They saw the accused walking on the road and noticed [he] was exposed.”
The court heard he walked towards a bar where two females were standing.
Bajek also admitted a second charge of having cannabis at police headquarters on the same date.
He was ordered to carry out 160 hours of unpaid work.
He was not placed on the Sex Offenders register.
Sheriff Alistair Brown said: “Whilst there’s plainly a significant sexual element to this, there’s no reason to suggest he’s going to be a nuisance to anyone.”
