Man jailed after trying to steal legal highs on Christmas Day

A 27-year-old man who tried to break into a shop on Christmas Day to steal legal highs has been jailed.
Christopher Rodger, of Foundry Lane, was sentenced at Dundee Sheriff Court to 26 weeks in prison.
He admitted that on December 25 last year, while acting with another, he attempted to force open a roller door by using a table fork, and attempted to break into commercial premises Just The Thing, Albert Street, with intent to steal.
He also admitted a second charge of stealing a quantity of razor blades worth £108 at Boots, Reform Street, on April 3.
