Police are hunting two thieves after a middle-aged man was robbed in a Dundee close.
The 46-year-old victim was left badly shaken after being targeted in an alleyway on the city’s Provost Road between 12:15am 1:05am on Sunday morning.
The unnamed male had just left the area’s Whites Bar when he was joined by a man and a woman who took him into a close and robbed him of his wallet and mobile phone.
Described as being in his mid-twenties, the male robber is about five foot seven inches tall, with short dark hair and was wearing a light coloured jacket at the time of the incident. The woman is described as being about five foot one inch tall, with long brown hair.
The victim was wearing a light coloured jacket and denim jeans and is described as being of medium build with balding hair and a beard. He was uninjured but alarmed by the incident.
Anyone who was in the area of Provost Road at the time and saw or heard any suspicious activity is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101. Alternatively information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
