A procession of Harley-Davidson bikes is just one of the events taking place on Sunday to mark the Tay Road Bridge’s 50th anniversary.
A selection of pipe bands and other performers, including Sheena Wellington, will take to the stage in Dundee’s Slessor Gardens as part of the festivities.
Free vintage buses will also be running from Dundee across the bridge to Newport and Tayport throughout the day. Times and information about stops are available online.
Xplore Dundee’s corporation bus will also form part of a vintage vehicle procession crossing the bridge on Sunday afternoon.
Managing director Elsie Turbyne said: “The Tay Road Bridge is one of the most recognisable landmarks in Dundee, and a vital part of the transport infrastructure of the city and its surrounding area.
“Xplore Dundee is looking forward to helping celebrate the bridge’s 50th anniversary and I would encourage everyone to come along and see our corporation bus on Sunday, and enjoy all the other activities on offer.”
Dundee City Council has said free parking will be available for all at the Gellatly Street and Greenmarket car parks on the day.
On the Fife side of the bridge, there will be a vintage farmers market between 10am and 4pm at The Newport, and a display of classic cars in Tayport car park.
Boat trips running across the Tay have already been fully booked.
