A man has sustained back injuries following a road accident in Dundee.
Two vehicles were involved in a collision on Albert Street, at its junction with Cardean Street, at around 2.20pm.
The incident caused significant disruption on surrounding roads as paramedics worked at the scene.
One of the vehicles, a grey car, also sustained damage to the right hand side and back, including a shattered rear window.
Traders on Albert Street said they heard a loud bang and then went out to see what had happened.
Natalie Thomas, a shop assistant at Pam’s Flowers, said: “A little bit before the crash we saw a car with a trailer, so when we heard the bang we thought it was the trailer hitting the kerb.
“However, it was a different car altogether.
“I’ve been working here for 14 years and these things don’t happen very often – it’s caused a bit of chaos.”
