A man has died in Monifieth after taking ill on a walkway close to the beach.
Police and ambulance personnel arrived at the scene, near Tayview Caravan Park, after a man was found on a path.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Police have been made aware of the sudden death of a man in his 60s on South Union Street in Monifieth on Friday, at around 12.30pm.
“At this time the death is being treated as unexplained.
“As with all sudden deaths, a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
It is understood the death is not being treated as suspicious.
