A group of hardy open-water swimmers took to the Tay on Saturday to compete in the annual Discovery Mile swimming race.
A total of 27 swimmers started the mile-long tide assisted swim from Dundee Sailing Club at Grassy beach to the west corner of the YeAABA pier.
The race is organised by Ye Amphibious Ancients Bathing Association and is split in to two age categories, junior – aged 13-17 – and senior – 17 and above.
The winner of the women’s race was Vicky Taylor of the Forfar Falcons swimming club and the men’s race was won by Steven Adam of Menzieshill Water Polo Club.
The junior race was won by Greig Matthew of YeAABA.
