Police are treating the death of a woman who fell from a 14th floor window in Dundee’s Hilltown as unexplained. Officers attended multi-storey flats in the area’s Dallfield Court just before 8.30pm after horrified residents reported the incident. Ambulance workers also rushed to the scene, but the unnamed 31-year-old victim couldn’t be saved. Police presence outside the building where the tragedy occurred. Tenants living on the building’s 11th floor described hearing “screams and a bang” around the time of the incident. One man, who asked not to be named, said: “It was at the opposite side of the building to where I live, but it was a young girl who fell. “I heard a scream and then a bang around the time it happened. “I don’t know if this was an accident or something else.” Officers have since confirmed they are currently treating the death as unexplained as their enquiries continue. A police spokesperson said: “Police Scotland attended at Dallfield Court at 8.30pm on Thursday following the sudden death of a woman. “The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are continuing. “A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
