Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Dundee on Wednesday afternoon.
The 28-year-old man was driving his van at the junction of Blackness Road and Perth Road in the city at around 1.30pm.
He stopped at the traffic lights on the junction and could not proceed due to a group of men blocking his way.
He got out of his vehicle and a discussion took place with the group of men before he was assaulted, suffering facial injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
The suspects are described as being aged between 18-20 years and wearing dark clothing.
