Police raid finds £57,000 in heroin and thousands in cash

Heroin worth an estimated £57,000 has been seized in Dundee.
The haul was discovered along with an estimated £800 worth of cocaine and thousands in cash when officers raided an address in Dunholm Road on Tuesday.
A 26-year-old woman has been charged in connection with the find.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and the woman is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
Detective Inspector Paul Riley said: “A significant amount of drugs and cash were recovered today as part of ongoing intelligence-led activity under Operation Slate, by our Detective Officers in Dundee.
“Throughout Tayside, we are committed to tackling drug-related criminality and reducing the harm caused by drugs.
“Supported by local officers, search teams from Operational Support Division and the Dog Unit, we will act on the information you provide to take drugs out of our communities.
