Police are continuing to investigate after a car went up in flames in a Dundee industrial estate on Sunday afternoon. Officers and firefighters were alerted to a burning vehicle in a car park on Baker Road shortly after 2pm. Upon attending, emergency services quickly extinguished the blaze. A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesperson confirmed: “A call was received at 2:06pm to report a vehicle fire on Dundee’s Baker Road. “Fire fighters used one jet to extinguish the fire. “Police Scotland were also in attendance.” A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed the cause of the blaze is currently unknown and that enquiries are continuing.
