Retailers in the city’s Overgate shopping centre are preparing for the annual student night event, which almost 8,000 young shoppers attended last year.
Students will be able to get 10-50% discount at over 40 stores on Wednesday September 21 between 6.30pm and 9pm.
DJ’s from Liquid, Underground, Club Tropicana and Vogue nightclubs will be providing the entertainment on the night, and the centre is to be transformed in to a South American carnival.
Graffiti artists, face painters, a caricaturist, balloon twisters and a Sillysnapz photobooth will also all be on display, along with goody bags for attendees and the chance to win a range of prizes.
Malcolm Angus, Overgate centre manager, said: “The countdown is well and truly on to what will be one of the busiest nights of the year for Overgate.
“Student Night 2015 was phenomenal with close to 8,000 students descending on the centre, and this year’s event, with the fantastic carnival theme, is set to be even bigger and better.
“The final preparations are being made by the Overgate team, our retailers and our many supporting partners from across the city.
“We can’t wait to open our doors tomorrow at 6.30pm and would urge students to arrive early and prepare for a night like no other.”
