Police have launched a probe into the death of a woman discovered in Dundee’s Seagate. Swathes of police officers attended the area in relation to a “medical matter” on Wednesday afternoon. Three police cars and a police van descended on the street shortly before 2pm. Witnesses say officers quickly set up a cordon in an alley connecting Murraygate with the Seagate. Officers have now confirmed the woman involved sadly died after being taken to Ninewells Hospital. A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed: “Police Scotland attended at the Murraygate at 2pm today after concern for a woman. “The woman was taken to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee where sadly she has died.”
