Dundee auctioneers Curr and Dewar is selling the automaton cobbler which used to sit in McLeod’s Shoe Repairs on Strathmartine Road. The automaton is expected to fetch between £150 and £200 when it goes under the hammer on Tuesday. Automata can be highly collectable.
