A collision between a car and a lorry caused traffic chaos in Dundee this morning.
The collision involving a red Seat and lorry from the Czech Republic was at the Kingsway/Old Glamis Road junction near Dundee and Angus College and happened at around 8am.
Police and ambulance crews attended the scene with a major effort to rescue the occupant or occupants of the car on the eastbound carriageway.
Miraculously, both drivers walked away from the incident.
The car was spun round so it was facing in the wrong direction and had also collided with a metal barrier at the side of the road.
The incident caused significant traffic delays on the major city commuter route.
There were lengthy tailbacks on the Kingsway and Clepington Road as drivers sought a route past the incident.
Traffic heading east was backed up to the Kingsway West Retail park
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said no one had been injured, and the road was fully reopened shortly before 11.45am.
