Police are appealing for information after a man was threatened with a knife close to Strathmartine Road on Tuesday evening.
The victim, a 39-year-old man who was sitting in his van at Taygate Trading Industrial Estate, was approached by a man described as being 25-35-years-old.
The man approached the van and threatened the victim with a knife, before running off in the direction of Strathmartine Road, shortly after 6.30pm.
The suspect was described as wearing a grey hooded top and grey tracksuit bottoms and about five feet nine inches tall.
The victim has been described as shaken by the incident, but is unharmed.
Officers from Police Scotland are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to contact Police on 101.
