Courier Business Awards: Watch host Gyles Brandreth’s best moments

The fourth Courier Business Awards were a spectacular celebration of the best of local commerce and service.

Businesses big and small were recognised in the wonderful surroundings of our marquee at the Apex City Quay hotel.

However, the highlight for many in the 700-strong audience is likely to have been witnessing event host Gyles Brandreth in full flow at his debonair best.

Whether it was DC Thomson, our own editor Richard “Robert Mugabe” Neville, or even those brave enough to step up to present awards, no-one was safe from his biting wit.
