CCTV connected to an assault charge at an Asda car park in Dundee has been shared widely after being leaked from the supermarket.
The footage is connected to an ongoing court case but has been shared “wildly” across the city.
The video, which cannot be shown for legal reasons, clearly shows the incident unfold in the car park at Asda, Milton of Craigie.
The 20-second clip displays dates and times matching an alleged assault in the car park on Saturday February 19.
It is understood supermarket bosses are now investigating how the footage ended up in the public domain.

Publishing information or evidence which could prevent a fair trial or influence its outcome can be contempt of court.
Contempt rules apply when a case becomes active, for example if someone has been arrested or charged.
Police Scotland has confirmed a 31-year-old man was allegedly assaulted within the grounds of Asda on Saturday February 19.
A 33-year-old man was arrested and charged and is expected to appear at court at a later date, a spokesman added.
‘Shared wildly’
One man who asked not to be named said the video had been sent to him recently.
He added: “You see videos like this getting shared all the time, usually videos from things happening down in England.
“Everyone was saying this happened in Dundee.
“The video has been getting shared wildly and you can clearly see dates and times.
“It looks like someone has recorded this on their phone looking at security footage.
“There is references to other files at the bottom of the screen with different dates and times.”
A spokesman for Asda said they were not aware of the video being leaked until approached by The Courier, but were assisting an investigation into the alleged assault.
“We are aware of an incident at our Milton store in Dundee and are assisting the police with their inquiries,” he said.
