A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a police incident in the Templeton woods area of Dundee. Officers attempted to stop a car on Templeton Road on Saturday evening. An alleged police “pursuit” followed before specialist officers brought the vehicle to a halt. One passer-by reported seeing a large amount of police officers in the area, along with an ambulance. Road cordoned off by police He said: “The whole area was sealed off by police, it looked like something was going down. “I saw a lot of police officers on the road along with an ambulance parked up near the woods. “I was shocked to see so much commotion.” A 32-year-old man has been charged. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.40pm on Saturday 9 April, 2022, officers attempted to stop a car on Templeton Road, Dundee. “Following a short pursuit specialist officers used tactics to bring the vehicle to a stop. “A 32-year-old man has been arrested and charged with traffic offences.”
