Vandals set fire to equipment at a children’s centre in Douglas, damaging toys and equipment.
The Under 12’s Project at Rainbow House in Drumlanrig Drive was targeted between 7pm on Friday November 18 and 9am on Monday November 21.
Picnic benches, a children’s play house, a slide and bicycles were damaged in the fire.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen anything to come forward.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police Scotland is appealing for witnesses after picnic benches, a children’s play house, a slide and bicycles were damaged by fire at the Under 12’s Project, Rainbow House, Drumlanrig Drive, Dundee.
“Anyone who was in the area at the time and saw or heard suspicious activity is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101. Alternatively information can be passed anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
