Police are appealing for information after a campaign of vandalism in Dundee.
Mindless vandals have targeted an ATM, bus shelter and residential development in the Stobswell area of the city in recent nights.
Officers have now confirmed there will be an increased police presence in the area as a result.
Police Sergeant Alex Munro said: “There is nothing whatsoever to be achieved by vandalism other than creating needless expense and upset for others. It harms people’s feelings of community safety and impacts on the appearance of local areas.
“Local officers will be undertaking high visibility foot patrols in the area and will be working alongside community wardens to provide reassurance and community engagement.
“I would urge anyone to contact Tayside Division on 101 if they have any information that could assist with enquiries. Â Information can also be given anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
