Police have confirmed two people have been charged in connection with drugs offences after a £48,000 heroin haul was seized in Dundee.
A 44-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman face charges after Police Scotland recovered the drugs from an address in Mains Loan on Friday December 2.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and they are expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday, December 5.
Chief Inspector Gary Ogilvie said: “We will act on information that you provide regarding illegal drugs in our community and we are focused on reducing harm in Dundee.
