Dundee United players visited the Children’s Hospital at Ninewells Hospital to spread some Christmas cheer.
An annual tradition for the city clubs — Dundee FC paid a similar visit last week — the players met patients and also took time to promote The ARCHIE Foundation’s Beards for Bairns campaign.
They also handed out presents to some of the children on the ward.
Untied captain Sean Dillon said: “We come to Ninewells every year at Christmas to give out presents.
“It’s an easy job – who doesn’t like giving out free presents?
“We have a good time and try to brighten a few people’s days.”
Beards for Bairns seeks to raise money for the ARCHIE Foundation’s £2 million Tayside Children’s Hospital Appeal by foregoing shaving during January.
