A man is to stand trial accused of approaching two girls in a playpark and luring them to a nearby close before inappropriately touching one of them. Mark Law is accused of climbing a fence to enter the playpark in Dundee on October 18 — then approaching two girls aged nine and 11. He is then said to have invited the older girl to attend at a property in the city before taking both of the children to that address. Prosecutors say Law then instructed the younger girl to wait outside in the close while he took the older girl into a flat. He’s then said to have inappropriately touched the girl despite having been repeatedly told by her not to. Law, 38, of Provost Road, Dundee, denies the charges on summary complaint at Dundee Sheriff Court. Sheriff John Rafferty set a trial date in March and ordered Law to appear at a pre-trial hearing in February.
