Parents of pupils at a Dundee primary school have been told to arrange for their children to be collected following water and toilet facility failure. Forthill Primary School is closing early because of the problems. A message sent out to parents said: “School closisng (sic) due water down and no toilet facilities. “Please arrange to have your child collected asap.” The school has 634 pupils, making it the largest primary school in the city. A council spokesperson said: “Forthill Primary School will be closed this afternoon due to an issue with the building’s water supply. “Parents and carers have been contacted by the school directly about the situation. “Work will be ongoing to make sure that Forthill Primary School will open as usual on Monday.”
